Here are links to some creative sources to aide you in determining what you would like for your own photo
session. Use these as guides only to start a creative discussion with your photographer of what you enjoy in a photo. Every photographer (and every dancer!) has their own style and it's best to let that come out. Please don't copy anyone or anything! Both for ethics, copyrights and individuality reasons.

One of the things that impressed me so much by Suhaila Sulimpour's photographs is that you see the inspiration and influence of the Symbolists and Pre Raphealite movement.

A SUPERB resource!! Artwork, film stills, statuary, vintage photos of bellydancers. A must first stop!!!!

Bellydance Museum
A nice site with Middle Eastern/Dance related imagery. Only problem is that it is a little hard to navigate.

Suhaila Salimpour
Some of Suhaila's promo photos bring to mind feelings of
Symbolist and Pre-Raphaelite paintings. Very artistic shots and really shows individuality.

Jeff Obermann
Good source to check out candid/performance shots.
